Ruby Rose risked being paralyzed on the set of “Batwoman”

Ruby Rose is on her way to recovery following an emergency surgery procedure.

The actress was reportedly injured from doing her own stunts at the set of her new series, “Batwoman”. According to the star, she was almost paralyzed due to the spinal cord injury which resulted in two herniated discs.
Rose took to social media to share the news with her fans. On Instagram, she posted a graphic and pretty gruesome video of the entire surgery which she then captioned:

“Well, that was fun. To everyone asking about my new Pez dispenser scar on my neck… A couple of months ago I was told I needed an emergency surgery or I was risking becoming paralyzed,” she explained. “I had herniated two discs doing stunts, and they were close to severing my spinal cord. I was in chronic pain and yet couldn’t feel my arms.”

She then went on to express her gratitude to her assigned surgeon, Dr. Rober Bray. She then explained that she had doubts about the surgery after watching an episode of Grey’s anatomy. Rose says this prompted her decision to have it caught on video.

You can catch the actress as the gender-swapped lesbian counterpart of Bruce Wayne in the CW series Batwoman. The series’ first episode is slated for an October 6 airing. In the show, Rose plays Kate Kane who takes on the bat suit after her cousin Bruce Wayne’s mysterious disappearance from Gotham.
