While we were literally this close to seeing Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reunited at the Golden Globes, we had to make do with Aniston’s reaction to Pitt’s dating joke on stage. The pair didn’t leave us hanging and reminded us that patience is a virtue. They had the sweetest and most adorable reunion at the 2020 Screen Actors Guild Awards and we are just dying over every single moment.
Aniston and Pitt greeted each other after they both won in their respective categories backstage. The two couldn’t keep their excitement and they were all smiles as they shared a small conversation. Aniston took home the award for Outstanding Female in a Drama Series for her role as Alex Levy in Apple Tv’s The Morning Show. Meanwhile, Pitt bagged the Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role for playing Cliff Booth in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
The pair was full of affection for each other and it’s all in the body language. Pitt, in particular, couldn’t hide his happiness as he held Aniston’s hand through the whole duration of their reunion. In one photo the star is seen still holding on to his ex-wife’s hand as she appeared to turn away. Can we all just take a deep breath and quote Phoebe Buffay saying “SEE? HE’S HER LOBSTER!”
