Jenna Dewan critiques Beyoncé’s early on-stage walk

Oh no she didn’t. Jenna Dewan recently called out Beyoncé apparently walking awkwardly on stage back in the earlier days of her career. Is this a smart move? Probably not and Dewan seems to know that too.

The 38-year-old World of Dance host appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen. In the show, a fan asked what her biggest pet peeve is when it comes to dancing pop stars.

In response, Dewan then stood up to demonstrate an awkward walk saying “When they walk in heels, but they walk… Instead of walking through your feet.” Cohen, the show’s host asked the expecting mom which pop star does the awkward walk with Dewan answering, “Y’all are going to all kill me. But back in the day, Beyonce did that.”

But Dewan isn’t looking to make enemies because she immediately added “But now she walks perfectly through her heels. But back in the day, I’d always be like, ‘Why are you walking like that?'”

Looking obviously unsettled after her remarks, she then continued, “The whole world is about to come for me right now. Bey Hive, Bey Hive, I love Bey!” When asked if she had ever danced with the pop music icon, Dewan answered: “No, but I, like, worship her. She’s amazing.”

“I think the chances just went down,” Cohen jokes.

“I know, I don’t think I’m being hired,” Dewan replied.

She then continued to drop names after the Step Up star was asked to list World of Dance judges from best to worst. “Derek [Hough] best, Jennifer [Lopez], Ne-Yo,” she responded.
