Camila Cabello is in absolute bliss as she continues to find success in her personal and professional life.
The singer appeared in a recent interview on the British talk show Lorraine. In the show, she couldn’t help but gush over her rumored beau, Shawn Mendes.
“I’m so happy. I’ve known him for such a long time and I don’t know, he just feels like home to me,” she said of her “Senorita” collaborator. “Yeah, I’m really happy.”
Cabello was asked if any of the songs on her new album Romance was about shaw Mendez. To which the pop star confessed, “Towards the end there were, yeah, yeah.”
Later on in the show, Cabello says that she “didn’t have time to fall in love” before dating the “Stitches” hitmaker.
“I literally did not have time to fall in love before the age of 20, because I was just working all the time,” she recalled. “Everything from my first album was drawn from my imagination. I was single for, like, 20 years.”
Cabello’s new album is all about love, a timely topic after she and Mendes went public with their relationship. The rumored couple are a hot topic at the moment.
Before speculations about Cabello and Mendes’ relationship surfaced, the singer’s breakup with ex Matthew Hussey was reported in June.
“Every song is its own story. It was inspired by, I was in my first serious relationship at the beginning of this album. That’s what inspired Romance and it being about falling in love.”
