Megan Fox on teaching her son to be confident in dresses

Megan Fox isn’t imposing conventional gender norms on her children. With that being said, her 6-year-old son Noah gets to wear whatever he feels great in–even if it’s in a flowing dress.

According to the actress, her son has quite the knack for fashion. The 33-year-old appeared on a televised interview with The Talk where she spoke about her son’s eye for style. Fox reveals that Noah loves to design and draw outfits saying “He’s very talented.”

Fox shares that Noah even has a say in what she wears during fittings. But she admits that things don’t always go his way quipping that “he’s still six.”

However, when it comes to Noah dressing himself, Fox reveals that she lets her son dress however he wants.

“Sometimes he’ll dress himself and he likes to wear dresses sometimes,” the actress tells the show.

But dressing this way still comes with backlash from Noah’s peers even though he studies at a “really liberal hippie school” in California.

“He still has little boys going, ‘Boys don’t wear dresses. Or boys don’t wear pink,’” Fox continued. “So we’re going through that now where I’m trying to teach him to be confident no matter what anyone else says.”

The Battle of Jangsari star reveals that Noah has grown to embrace his love of dresses even if his schoolmates have something to say about it. “And he was like, ‘Well all the boys laughed when I came in, but I don’t care. I love dresses too much.’”
