Fans of the Kardashian-Jenner clan might not be getting a family Christmas card this year. In a recent interview, Kim Kardashian West admitted that it was hard enough to wrangle her kids together for their own Christmas card. How much more with her entire extended family?
In Tuesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Kim made an appearance and shared the story behind their adorable Christmas card. The 39-year-old discussed why a Kardashian-Jenner Christmas card won’t be happening this year.
“I saw online, ‘They’re feuding! They won’t do a card together,’ and all this stuff. It was just a timing thing of why I couldn’t wrangle everybody,” Kim says of the speculations going around in the rumor mill.
The reality star then revealed that she was never able to get her whole immediate family to sit together for a group photo. North West, her eldest child with husband Kanye West, refused to sit with her siblings during the photo shoot.
“North was having a day. She refused to be in the shoot, and she just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever,” Kim reveals of the drama caused by her 6-year-old daughter. In fact, North would rather not be involved in the family card at all during that day. But she changed her mind the next day.
“’Let’s just pretend. Shoot us, but you’ll cut me out, and photoshop her in,’” Kim said to the photographer. And that’s how their 2019 Christmas card finally came together. See how it turned out in Kim’s Instagram post below:
