Disney+ teases 2020 debut for Marvel’s “WandaVision”

Last year, Disney was able to successfully launch its own streaming platform, Disney+. It is expected that the multimedia giant will continue to gain momentum now that we have finally entered 2020.

To keep subscribers clamoring for more and to convince those who aren’t subscribed yet, Disney released a teaser of what’s to come at the beginning of the decade. A teaser clip revealed a lineup of originals, reboots, and blockbusters that will be available for streaming on Disney+. One of the upcoming shows that really caught the attention of fans is Marvel’s highly anticipated “WandaVision”.

Disney initially announced the original series is slated for a 2021 release. But Marvel fans are in for a treat because the forthcoming show will be making a 2020 debut. Premiering alongside it is the Captain America spinoff, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

WandaVision will star Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany as Wanda Maximoff (Scarlet Witch) and Vision respectively. The pair will be reprising their roles from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. New and familiar faces will be joining the show with Kat Dennings, Randall Park and Kathryn Hahn making an appearance. The same goes for Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as their titular characters in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.

As for what else is in store for subscribers of Disney+, well, there’s a lot more. A wave of nostalgia is about to hit kids from the early 2000s with the revival of Lizzie McGuire. High School Musical: The Musical: The Series will also make its debut along with The Mandalorian’s second season premiere.
