Cardi B has another movie underway following “Hustlers”

There’s nothing in this world that Cardi B likes more than checks. The rapper recently announced that she’s keeping the money rolling her way with another big-screen appearance.

The rapper appeared on an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show aired on Thursday. In the show, the 26-year-old revealed that she’s not stopping at “Hustlers” when it comes to her silver screen stints.

“I’m going to film for a movie this month,” she said on the talk show. DeGeneres expressed her surprise for the news as the rapper complained about the tedious process of filmmaking.

“I couldn’t believe I was on set for 16 hours,” Cardi told the host. “It’s like, ‘Is this what actors and actresses gotta go through?’”

“Artists, we have long days but it’s just full of excitement. We move around, we doin’ something,” Cardi explained about the difference between being in the music industry and acting. “[Acting], you like, you gotta wait on the trailer until it’s your turn. You gotta do the same scene 20 times.”

When DeGeneres asked why the rapper agreed on taking on another film, she quipped in true Cardi B fashion: “I enjoy the checks.”

The rapper didn’t go into further detail about her next on-screen project. But it seems that she’s on a roll. Cardi B appears in the stripper-heist film Hustlers where she appears alongside Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, and Lizzo. To no surprise, Cardi appears in a small role as one of the strippers giving Wu’s character lessons on exotic dancing.
