Justin Timberlake teases upcoming music with Lizzo

The new collab between Justin Timberlake and Lizzo is ready and coming sooner than you think!

Timberlake spoke to Entertainment Tonight about all the exciting details of his collaboration with Lizzo.

“I just called my publishers and I said, ‘You know, I just want to work with young, fresh people, and I want to collaborate more,” the former NSYNC member explained. “I’ve been songwriting and producing for so long — I want to experience that energy, and I want to work with people that I think are truly amazing.”

And we all know there isn’t any performer in this world that’s fresher than Lizzo. She and Timberlake first met at the Songwriters Hall of Fame event. Without any second guesses, Timberlake approached her to work something out in the studio together.

“I think she thought I was lying, but we got in and we got a couple of ideas,” the singer teased about Lizzo’s reaction. “I’m not going to tell you too much about what we did together in the studio. If she wants to tell you she can, but it’s flames. It is so good. I am so excited about it.”

And we absolutely cannot wait! After all, any music Lizzo puts out never disappoints. News of a collab between the two artists first surfaced in August. On Instagram, Timberlake shared a short clip of him and the “Good as Hell” hitmaker in a recording studio. The post riled up fans with excitement over a collaboration.

Timberlake’s latest collabs will also include SZA and Meek Mill.
